Horse Heaven Hills...always there....often lovely

I'm pretty sure the Horse Heaven Hills have never been a destination for a photo seminar.  The 'hills' are mostly very flat except for a few unremarkable gullies and canyons.  The farms of the Horse Heaven Hills are functional but not a red barn to be had.
The Horse Heaven Hills do, however, offer an almost 360 degree view of the ends of the earth...and they're 15 minutes from my house.  

The Siren

 Just like Odysseus was irresistibly drawn to the island of the Sirens, I keep finding myself in Hood River.  The Hood River Chamber of Commerce should really hire me to promote the area...

We took Dalles Mountain Road (see photo at left) up to the farm land above the Gorge.






This is the Centerville/Goldendale area of Washington State. 

The Hood...some more...can't get enough.
