All over the Northwest, spring has sprung. Yippee! It's been a wet winter and spring so the trees and flowers are blooming like crazy. The grass is super green...in some places, unbelievably so.
The first batch of blossoms on this post are from my yard. This blue Camas (left) was near Eugene, OR and the white Brodiaea were growing on Dalles Mountain along with copious Lupine and Balsamroot. And the purple cone-like flower in the shadow of the Twin Sisters was a mystery but, no more, thanks to Lisa Hill for the identification.
